My miggo experience – India

 by Arnold Miller, M.D.

I have just returned from a wonderful trip to India, touring mostly in Rajasthan including visits to Udaipur, Pushcart, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Agra. The sites and sounds were remarkable with wonderful opportunities for keen photographers to photograph.

Just before leaving for our trip I was fortunate to buy the miggo Grip&Wrap DSLR soft protective cover for my camera, the Nikon D90 and 18-200 Nikon Zoom lens. Instead of having my camera exposed all the time, or the alternative of dragging around my standard large, heavy protective camera bag, this soft, malleable cameral case allowed me to keep my camera on hand at all times, so that no opportunities to photograph were missed.

In addition to the convenience, it provided the necessary protection for the camera and lens, preventing the inadvertent scratches and knocks that inevitably occur walking around in the markets, climbing up steep stairways or trails to explore the palaces and forts, or walking around the many crowded markets. Together with the original camera strap always exposed and available and with the extra handle of the soft case, holding on to the camera at all times is easy and secure.  The Miggo soft cover certainly contributed a great deal to the ease, comfort and pleasures of our tour.
